Dynomax VT exhaust 2012 Camaro LS

I installed the Dynomax VT exhaust, and now have a question. When you put the car in neutral, and rev the engine... does the engine "govern" itself? Like if you floor it and keep it floored, does your engine stop revving and limits how much you can gun the engine (until you let of the gas and gun it again)?

Not sure if this is because of the new muffler, or this is the way the new LFX is designed.

Any help would be appreciated!

DynoMax VT

I have the DynoMax V2 and no it does not sound like a ricer.
Has a deep growl and really sounds good.
Mine will rev to 7,000RPM and rev limiter will cut out in all 6 speeds.
Just have to shift before it does and it is fine.
The video audio does not do it justice you have to hear it live.
DynoMax will warranty for 90 days if you do not like the sound or performance they will take it back but will not cover cost for removal.

Recently ordered one of these because I have heard nothing but good things. Looks like it was a good choice.

Close to pulling the cord on this system, any chance of getting outside sounds during acceleration?

My understanding: Auto trans vehicles are limited to 4000 rpm when trans is in Park or Neutral.
