Carbon Fiber Hood for the 1LE?

Just thinking out loud here... What would you all think about a 1LE with an exposed carbon fiber hood? I'm thinking weight reduction plus it keeps (and potentially enhances) the look of the black hood. Damn not being good enough with Photoshop to see what it might look like!

I would like it for the weight savings but I wouldn't want that much carbon fiber exposed. For me it would have to be painted, or a nice black vinyl hood wrap.

Won't be much of a weight savings. Stock hood is aluminum.

Most aftermarket hoods are heavier than stock because of the aluminum construction.

Pay me $900 and I'll remove 1lb from your car that you'll never notice. LOL.

You should get in the road racing bicycle biz, that is about the cost, $900 for less than a pound savings.
