Can you remove you radio knobs

Hey Camaro fanatics, Is there any way to take off our radio knobs so I can paint them to the exterior color? Ive been researching about this topic and I cant find anything about it. Is it even possible to take them off and put them back on?

I know they sell covers for them, but not sure if they can be removed.
They have Orange, Chrome, Black(s)

The covers are pretty cool - I just received a set of the brushed aluminum ones and they just fit over the factory knobs. They look good!
