Trifecta Tuning Questions

Does this remove the factory setting where if you are in manual mode on an automatic and your downshifting to a lower gear but your RPM's are to high it wont let you? Just curious! Also, Anyone's opinion on how much more of an impact this had on your car good and bad or any problems?
