Question Fuel consumption

I have a 2012 2LT with the RS Package (6 months old)
I'm curious as to what gas mileage people are getting with similar vehicles. I primarily drive to and from work through suburbs with no heavy traffic, and seldom on freeways.

I get 17 on my 1LT going to and from work, but I need to do 80-85 just to get on the freeway in the morning and it's 50-60 all the way home. I have the bay area's only sweet commute hours, 6AM and 3PM.

If you see it, get it, for tomorrow it may be gone!

A couple of months ago I put up a post about a decrease in gas milage. A few extra PSI in the tires, new air filter and a good fuel injector cleaner got it back up. Was down to 16.5 city - now 19.5 city. On the rare long hwy trip, I've gotten as high as 26. Bob

We just got back from a trip from KS to TX and got approx 27.66 mpg averaging 70 to 75 mph in a V6. Not bad!

It's subjective to your driving habits. Hard to tell from what others get based on what they tell you. So many variables.

I get 33mpg at 45mph when I set the cruise under no load. And get 27. Highway at 75. And I am making 700+hp too.

Now under boost and throttle driving aggressive numbers will be crazy different.
