Now I wait!!!

My ZL1 is resting comfortably at Lingenfelters shop this evening. I dropped it off today for the 700+ package. Gonna suck not having a car again for at least 4 wks!

I bet it will be the longest 4 weeks of your life! You will love it.

I used ADM. Quality is second to none. They use Lingenfelter parts but it only takes 4 days!
......I do kinda wish I had Lingenfelter hood emblems.

Going to be a long wait! Decided to adress cooling, headers will be coated to take a bit of heat out of the engine bay. Will also ad their remote resevior. The third thing is their custom building HX for their yellow car (the car that went 202 mph) and a second one for me, plus a fan set up. Yes I guess I could have gottin it back sooner thru another fine tuner from this site but always wanted a Lingefelter car and its only about a 2 1/2 hr drive!

Be sure to keep us updated!! What's the 700+ package running you? I'm thinking of the same package for my ZL1!

I had the 700+ package installed plus ARH headers, an MTI shifter, the LPE large capacity coolant reservoir and a battery tender with an engine compartment connection....cost approx. $13,300 and produced 704 rwhp....couldn't be happier.....

It's an entirely different car than it was stock....

Thats cool, I wish I was closer to them, I don't really trust anyone else at this point for the job...

btw, why are they taking so long to do it? Are they that busy or is it that big of a project? I don't know too much about the 700HP, but my local Chevy dealer said a day and a half for the 650HP LPE package install...

The 700 is mutch more involved, they pull the engine add heads and cam. I've been working with Tim Dyer (sales manager) and he says they have can have 40 or more cars in the shop at any given time!

oh wow I didn't know it was that much of a job. That's actually good that they do so many cars, at least your not the guinea pig. The phone recommendation I got from LPE was my local Chevy dealer for the work. I called them and they said they did "ONE" supercharger so far... Well so much for going there...

That doesnt sound right. My dyno results werent that high for base.
And congrats. Nice package to go with. I wonder if anyone is going to be able to buy one of our ZL1s without it being completely modded.

My M6's stock pulls at LPE were 522/526 and 520/513.....they must use the high-reading dyno, from what I'm reading on here?

Stay after them Sam!

This is my dyno sheet for mine showing stock before tune, after tune, and after airaid install with tune. Something doesn't seem right here. What do you guys think.

Godssplumber, Yes your numbers seem a little low. I was told my numbers would be much lower on mustang dyno. That and 91 octane vs 93 and the AZ heat would all play into the equation.
