I definitely understand where you're coming from. The side ones are being removed and I had already removed the bowtie from back there. I wanted to do something different because the bare spot had kinda got boring to me. So while waiting for the blackfire sealant to haze up on my buddy's charger, we decided to try putting a spare set of letters I had painted black on the back. It turned out pretty good so we kept it. For now it's staying. But knowing the way I am with the car, I'll probably change it up down the road.

When I first got my LT wheels, I knew I wanted black wheels but wasn't sure if I wanted it to be permanent. So I decided, like many others, to just plastidip them to see what it'd look like. Well yesterday I FINALLY got rid of the crappy plastidip and painted them satin black. So much better than plastidip!

P.S. The lug nuts will get painted right in a few days when I can buy some paint thinner and throw them in a bucket to get rid of all the plastidip.

lscamaro's Slow and Steady CGM Build

While the wheels were being painted by my buddy, I decided to bust out the PC and give the paint a much needed compound and polish. For a daily driver that sits in college parking lots 24/7, the paint was actually in way better shape than I though. A few days ago, I took advantage of autogeek's christmas sale and bought the pot of blackfire blackice for the car. I put it to use for this detail and I love the look it gives the car.

Not at this moment. I'm going to wash the car over the next few days once it stops raining and I'll get some for you. The lugs will also be painted within the next few days. That should finish up the wheels for me until I can afford some other wheels
ZL1 rear sway bar should be going in next week wednesday or thursday.

I know this isn't a mod but I bought myself this toolset on Monday. Had a cheapie little tool set that I did my mods with but after seeing the sale they had on this one, I decided to buy myself my first "real" tool set. Got it for a steal and it should help on any future mods I do to the car. I also bought myself a 2 ton duralast jack from AutoZone that was also on sale. Should make adding mods a lot better

P.S. SgtPickles, it's been raining for the last 4 days here so still no side pics... I'll definitely get them ASAP though.

Got quite a bit done today. Cleaned my lug nuts to get them ready for paint, installed the elite catch can I had laying around and also debadged the fenders. If the weather holds up, the car will get a wash tomorrow and pictures will follow

Yea, I noticed that too! They have everything ranging from like 80 pieces to 500 pieces. I got a great deal on mine so I jumped on it. Whatever extra I need I'll buy seperately but this should be good for more than a few mods

Took a quick picture of the car during the wash I gave it today. Have to say, I LOVE the reflection the BlackFire BlackIce wax gives the car. Looks amazing during the day. It's also a decent picture of one of the debadged fenders. I'll be getting more pics of that ASAP. I was also able to finally clean my wheels after being painted and have to say that I absolutely LOVE them painted over plastidipped. Cleaning the wheels is so much easier now not to mention it also looks so much better in my opinion.

Promised some pics of the debadged fenders and here they are. Like the look a lot. It's also a lot easier to clean

I love the wheels painted! I almost had mine powder coated when I was having trouble finding wheels I liked. I still have them & may do something with them one of these days & put on some tires for drag racing.

The paint looks great too! I really need to work on mine. Once I get my headers & tune installed All my mod $ will be for cosmetics.

Keep up the good work. Lookin' good!

Thanks a lot for the compliments. I have headers awaiting install but with the new hp tuners tune looming, I've decided to wait to get them installed to see what the tune brings. So I've decided to concentrate on things like suspension and cosmetics. Which reminds me, I got a new part in the other day Will get pics in a moment

Thank you very much! I try. Have definitely been concentrating a little more on cosmetics now that suspension is pretty much almost done.

Over the Black Friday / holiday sales I wasn't able to pick up anything big but I did happen to get an amazing deal on a set of subframe bushing inserts from a member on here. Besides the radius rod bushings, this should pretty much finish up the suspension mods I've been wanting to get a hold of. Not much if a pic. But then again it's not much to see. Their whiteline bushings btw. Wanted the pedders ones but due to the problems they've been having and the amazing deal, I jumped on these.

Well, it's been a month since I've updated this thread. With school in full swing, modding slowed a bit while I got a hang of how this semester's classes would be. Now that I know what to expect, I should be doing a few more mods soon. Apart from installing my long tubes (which I'm waiting for the supposed HP Tuners tuning support release before install), installing some subframe bushing inserts, and installing the Pedder's Rear Z Sway Bar I have, I'm pretty much done with performance and suspension mods. So I will now be hitting the cosmetic mods pretty heavily. I already have two exterior mods that I really want to do and will probably be getting done within the next month to two months hopefully!

Which suspension mod would you say was the best bang for the buck? I want to start doing suspension mods but I'm not sure where to start. Also, any reason why you went with Pedder's as opposed to any other brand?

What are your goals? Twists and turns or straight line?
