Weld Wheels anyone tried MT ET Street Bias ply tires

Just ordered a set of Weld wheels and my friend has a set of MT ET Streets bias ply tires with 2 passes on them, they are 26X11.50 -17LTs they are 11.1" wide and 26.5" tall. We have the skinnies as well for the front. Has anyone tried these or knows if they will fit on a 5th gen with the Welds?

They will be noticeably shorter than stock tires, but they would work.

It will work but look like crap, also less side wall. I would run a true 28" slick on those 17s if your an M6... Drag radial if your auto. Drag radials tend to be faster then a slick, but slicks are much better for stick cars because they will bite harder and handle the shock more.

Just noticed your M6... ya get a 28" slick if you want the best possible et! They will fit in your car on the way to the track too!

These tires are basically slicks and while they will look funny being 1.5 inch shorter they will also give me an equivalent of a 3.61 gear, so if they stick they should lay down a good ET you would think.

Not as good as slicks but maybe 80% as good. Have at it.

personally I dont think it will have any effect on making your car faster. I had a 28" slick on my olds, and tried a 30" to lower my rpm at the trap a few hundred and it actually picked up MPH. I think all it will do is look funny, but hell man if you want to try em go for it! If your not getting a good deal on them I wouldnt bother though.
