Added some color.........a cheap mod!

Decided to add some color to the rather boring looking ZL1 bright wheels.

...........easily applied.........and easily removed if desired...........

Your 5 spoke bright aluminum wheels look good with the color added.

I have ordered the 5 spoke wheels on my 2013 ZL1 Convertible.
QNDD5S CT

I wish Chevrolet would offer the ZL1 Carbon Concept 5 spoke as an option.
Check out how good they look when black painted, in the link below:

Tried the decal approach, but they just didn't fit the indentation quite right.

I had the dealer paint mine in, as well as painting the center bowtie black.

Looks great
I ordered the wheel stickers as well as the under hood ZL1 but they didn't fit so I tossed them. I even took them to a shop that installs decals and they told me the same thing that I figured out they aren't cut right.

i thought about it. I did have black Gorilla lug nuts on my 2011 Vert that had aftermarket wheels, but this time I decided to go with chrome Gorilla lug nuts.

I prefer the Gorilla locking lug nuts because they give you a full set of 20 lug nuts so all the lug nuts look the same on each wheel rather than the GM locking lug nuts which are just one per wheel making the wheel look wierd with a odd lug nut.

The black ten spokes just don't do it for me, basically because of the design, but they do look the best on the brighter color cars though. The black with machine face really work well on black cars.

You better take your car back to the dealership and tell them to mount your tires correctly. That is the LF tire mounted on the RF side........the chalk mark caught my attention and the rotation arrows are pointing the wrong direction........it states 'Rotation Left Side".............be careful driving until you get them mounted correctly.

Already took care of it. And yes I parked the car until I had a chance today to take it by the dealer and have them switched.
And while they were switching the wheels, they took a few min all on their own to re-align the painted center bowties so they lined up with the painted ZL1 spoke.
I didn't even ask them to.

How many miles did you have on them? Did you ask for warranty replacement for incorrect wear? Curious minds want to know..........

The dealer is convinced it was done by accident last week when it was in the shop. Only about 50 mile were put on the car with the tires on the wrong way.

No cause for alarm, no harm done, all is well.
