Arrow Hot, Sexy, Topless Pics(ZL1-Vert)

Got her 9 days ago and finally had a chance to get her all cleaned up yesterday. Now gotta work on some exterior mods. I definitely need a different spoiler(ZL-1 or MPD1), considering painting the insert part of the spokes on the wheels black(or maybe even the entire wheel black and the inserts red), gonna add a stripe on the back and spoiler(either white or black), maybe fender hash marks to match, inserts for the gils, and have on order carbon fiber vents for the front fenders.

Thanks, it took me a long time to commit to getting a new one. The '02 has 180,000 and is just an amazing car. I still plan on using the '02 a lot, but with all the mods it is very high maintenance as a daily driver.

Different people mod their wheels different ways. Here's the approach I took.

I saw that thread earlier and bookmarked it. Definitely considering that. My wife has an app on her ipad called "color effects" and we are going to try some different colors on the wheels too and see if we can come up with anything that stands out. When I ordered the car the black wheels were on constraint so that wasn't an option; which was kind of good because black wheels came with my '02 SS and I never really liked them. So while I am considering powdercoating them black(or even black chrome), I don't really know if thats the right move and may just do something more subtle like what you did. Also, the polished wheels are starting to grow on me.

Love both those cars. I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on a ZL1 vert with your exact color scheme.

Nice vert! Is that color VR or IOM? Sometimes it's hard to tell in pics.

Its VR. I had a tough time deciding between VR and IOM. However, since in some lighting the VR looks like IOM I figured I would get the best of both worlds.

Are your wheels on the wrong side?

I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice that.

I've had the car since 8-27-12 and it now has 1100 miles on it.

Last week I dropped the car off at the dealer to have a few things done to it.

Clear Bra
Paint the front and rear bowtie black, paint the bowties and the ZL1 on the wheels, put my new license plate on, and changethe lug nuts to all Gorilla locking lug nuts.

I picked the car up Friday after work and had noticed that they must have taken the wheels off to paint them and someone marked the tires with chalk so they could go back on it the right place.

Come Saturday, I'm at a local car show and someone with a sharp eye tells me the tires have the arrows pointing in the wrong direction.

When I got home, I took a look and sure enough they're on the wrong sides.

I'm stopping at the dealer tomorrow after work to get them put on right.

What I don't know is whether they somehow marked them wrong at the dealer when they painted them, or whether they were put on wrong at the factory and the dealer just put them back on where they were when I dropped it off and just never thought to check or see the arrows.

If they were that way when it left the factory, then that means I've put 1100 miles on them with them pointing in the wrong direction.

Oooops.

Yeah, it was down to those two colors for me, too when I ordered mine. I decided on the orange because my current car is red. Time for something new. But the orange will cost me extra!

Ditto.

Maybe moving these ZL1 vert threads to the vert forum would give us SS and LT vert guys something to aspire to.
