BTW if you found it unlocked they may of just used a slim jump to unlock it. You might not of forgot. Don't blame yourself.

Look for any scratch or deformation on the weather strip above the door handle. Indication of a door popper.

BTW, are those 14s or 15s?

I like dragons, they are scary. Probably so scary that thieves would think twice about removing the wheels.

Oh and one more tid bit. It appears they used 3 different jacks to get the car up.

Thats just it........they left the jacks. The Sheriff called and asked if the Range Rover jack was under my car to let him know. The owner of the Range Rover would like his jack back.

They left a tool bag behind that was from a Range Rover. The Sheriff said he was going to drive around and look for a Range Rover as he suspected they would be without wheels as well. Turns out he was right.

Holy cow. I missed that piece of it. I saw some of the tools or something in the picture, but I didn't get the impression there were any jacks left. Why not just leave it jacked up with the jacks under it? Crazy.

The Sheriff didn't seem to interested in any CSI type activity. But with 3 jacks and the big plastic nut that holds the tools in the Camaro being unscrewed in the trunk, someone touched a lot of stuff.

Good thoughts from everyone.

Have a garage, but left the opener at work when I let another engineer take Number 3 for the weekend. So didn't put it in the garage. Often in the summer, I'll just park in the driveway.

Had my hands full when I was bringing in our luggage, thought to lock the door and OOPS, central locking under the radio doesn't work real well with luggage hanging around your shoulder so I figured I would just hit the button on the key fob from inside the house. So either I did and the car didn't lock or I just didn't, the car was unlocked this morning and I am doubtful the thieves could have opened the doors without the key, but you never know.

Just hoping there is no damage to the exhaust or oil pan. We'll have to wait and see.

I'll keep you posted.
Okay I believe you now, sorry I ever doubted you number 3, not that I doubted you as much as I thought you were playing a photoshop trick on us.

Sorry to hear really, makes me worry now... I may have to get an after market alarm for mine.

HAA Yeah my ex girlfriends house was robbed once, and the guy took prints, but only because he was humoring us... but he just laughed and said okay... real life is nothing like CSI... at least not in 98% of the world.

no? well someone had to say it. I say you throw 4 donuts on there and call it a day, no more troubles. Id be afraid that the second you get replacement wheels, they come back and take those too, jerks.
