Topic is Chevy Dealerships...rate your experience!

Ok, here is the deal. At some point in our Camaro warranties we will need a Chevy dealership. We have several to choose from here but I haven't had a Chevy in this city before so I'm wondering which dealership would be recommended by my fellow Camaro owners. I know others have the same question, so...

List your:

City
State
Dealership you have used
Tell us if you would recommend them or not.

I would absolutely recommend them.

They are the best of the best and really do care about their customers. Very few dealerships are still around who will go that extra mile and make sure you get the car that you want, but they are one that will. It's the only dealership I will be taking my car to for service.

I have 2 around me that are very good.

George Chevrolet in Bellflower, CA and the Dealer I use Delillo Chevrolet in Huntington Beach, CA

Personally I prefer to drive the 50 miles to Delillo because I have had a long relationship with them (bought 7 cars/trucks there).

Rodgers Chevrolet

Rodgers Chevrolet, in past 18 months, purchased my ZL1 & Silverado 3500 HD, saved thousands over any deal I could get locally and was worth the drive ..

Rodgers Chevrolet, delivers anywhere in the USA and Becky Doyle is a Camaro aficionado hersself

Interesting that there have been 138 views at this thread so far and four posts, not one is a rant. Some shy folks out there I guess, because we know there is some emotions out there over dealerships, lol.

I purchased my Camaro there about a year ago originally, and have since been back to purchase two more cars the experience was so good. Make sure you talk to Charles - sarcastic and hilarious - good salesman.

I purchased my car from Courtesy Chevy (at the airport) in Orlando:

I will never buy from them again or recommended anyone to purchase a car there. Next Camaro I buy will be from Becky!

Oh and in case anyone is interested, they have a 13 ZL1 on the lot. And oh yea, bring an extra 10K for Market markup, or whatever they call it.

You can have this for $71,175.00: http://www.courtesychevroletairport....-FL/1812846653

As for the Service center, I cannot recommend it and Service Adviser Duane P. enough! Their service center will always have my business.

Do not recommend. I have had a ton of problems with this dealership esp with the service department which has a rude manager who has no idea about how cars work or anything. Even told me that mobile 1 is bad for my engine. That was the last straw, i now go elsewhere.

I dont recommend buying from there. I went in there looking to upgrade to the ss and not one person came up and talked to me. But the service department is excellent thought. When i had to get my heater core replaced the lady who took care of me hooked me up

The salesman that sold me mine went above and beyond. Service department is spectacular. The only problem I had was the finance manager. Her customer service protocol sucks! Her attituded was as if she was doing you a favor selling you this car. You ain't sh#$T to her but a commision.

Worked with McCluskey Chevrolet. Terrific guys and the sales team is great.

Keith McCluskey personally introduced himself during the buying process and was a great guy overall.

Got one of the best deals out there!

Kings auto Mall is a nice place.

Rodgers Chevrolet, Woodhaven MI: Bought the car from them. Best buying experience ever.

Burdick Chevrolet, Cicero, NY: This is where I have my car serviced. Upon recommendation from a fellow camaro5 member. They have exceptional customer service skills, treat me as though I bought the car from them.

Color switched me on my 2012 Camaro and then told me to take it or leave it because they werent going to go further to get me the color I ordered. Said there wasnt another AGM Camaro 1LS within 1000 miles and I really wanted a Camaro 1LS. I also didnt want to drive m POS Suzuki home. They really screwed the pooch and didnt offer me any type of concession either. I vehemently do not recommend this dealership. If you are from Houston, heed my warning.

I just bought my first Camaro from Becky at Rodgers Chevrolet. It was by far the best experience I've ever had buying a car.

Service: I have not taken it in. I will never take my car in for maintenance as I do all of my own work. Have not had any repairs, warranty or otherwise, now at 8K miles+.

Finance was the last straw for me and this dealership. Lady was a bitch and "unintentionally" made errors on the sales contract, then kept telling me all she needed was my signature on the bottom before giving me time to read it. I made her wait, caught errors on the first two write-ups and made her wait longer so I could go over it even more carefully on the subsequent rewrites (wrong interest rate at first, not even close; additional item on contract on second rewrite). It seemed like she wanted to make it my fault for making her do her freaking job, it was my fault she couldn't get rid of me fast enough and it was my fault she couldn't sell me any add-ons.

The dealership would leave me alone for long periods of time while the salesman/finance, were doing something else.

I even had to take the time to be introduced to the accessory guy. Sorry dude, don't want anything more from the dealership. No, no, no.

I was not introduced to anyone from the service department, nor was I shown around that part of the dealership.

I have never been back, except when I took them up on a post-delivery detail, as I caught some things I didn't like on initial inspection. And I live a quarter of a mile from them. Free oil changes are too expensive from these guys.

Isnt this the dealership that just had a customer arrested for stealing a Chevy Traverse because they sold it to him for $5200 less than it was worth?

He was jailed for 4 hours and the Judge threw it out. He is now suing for 2.2. Million for false imprisonment. LOL. Classic.
