Direct bolt-on headers for ZL1

From what I have seen, most headers require you to trim the pan or modify for proper fitment, my question is which products are just a direct bolt on without any serious modification? Kooks?

Yes, from my understanding, the new Kook headers fit exact. That's what my tuner told me anyway. He said the older ones ( only a few months old) from my SS I traded in, would need modification, but the "new ones" don't. He's installing them as we speak.

Do you know which exact ones you ordered? Thanks so much.

If I remember reading in another post, the newer Kooks headers will fit both the SS and ZL1, but I still think you have to trim the heatshield.

It's notching the rear of the belly pan that most likely will be needed on the ZL1 unless you like the smell of hot plastic...

Shouldn't affect the belly pan function however.
