Chrome Wheels

Hi everyone. I've been out of the car game for awhile now and need to catch up with todays tech. Whats the best way to clean and polish chrome rims?

I love chrome wheels and mine are still near prefect after 2 years.
Wash with just car soap and water at least onca a week and wax 3-4 times a year and all's good.
I do have all season tires & wheels for the winter so I'm sure that makes a big
difference also.

I have chrome IROC wheels and they are absolutely mint condition after 4 years, all I use is the Eagle1 car wash soap on them, no wax needed.

Wash them with a safe rim cleaner like P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner, and if needed a chrome polish like my favorite Sonus Chrome Polish, then keep them protected with Sonus Aluminum and Chrome Sealant and your rim will thank you for it.

Chrome quality varies on how the chrome was applied, there are several steps to the process and you can change some and still get chrome, but it will not be as durable as if you follow all the steps. OEM chrome is generally the best and some aftermarket is really junk.
