If anyone is looking for help installing headers my garage and ramps are always available as long as I am not working on the weekend. I may be needing some help in the nearish future with mine. I need to get my CAI, and tuner so I can be ready for a dyno tune after I get my LT headers.

If you are mising he four or six push 'rivets' on the top part of the facia, I would think they would have a supply of them at the parts department. Should be able to go back and get you however many are missing and you do the install yourself. Can't imaginea need for delay on that. I would stay on that and get them done quickly.
Thanks for the info, Mike! The fasteners that they left off are the screws holding the outer edges of the front bumper fascia on. They're just forward of each front tire. They disassembled the front to put on my heritage grill, and didn't reassemble correctly. They must have just thrown the extra screws over their shoulder and forgot about them.

I hope that they actually put in Mobil One when you specify it. I hate when my car is out of my sight at the dealership...

Thanks again,

Tara

Those screws should also be a common item. Have they replaced them yet? If not I would be bugging the crap out of them.

@dcoates, I had my ground effects and t3 ports installed at ricks detailing on ayers and spid. The t3 ports req them to remove my front facia and cut into it but came out good.

I have the Hex vents and love them. Can't help with body shop tho. For your exhaust, if you don't want to do yourself go to Flannigans on Port st. Not the one on SPID. Ask for Rowdy to do the work.

Mike,

Not yet. I missed the service manager on Monday, and have been sleeping and/or busy the last two days. I did mention that I work graves at the base? I'll try to get over there on Friday on my day off. It's bugging me that parts are missing off my car.

When are you gonna be back home and rested? I'ma need help getting my foldaway front plate holder on. No plates from the state yet, though.

Friday I also want to install my red "SS" that I bought from EmblemPros in my grill. The part looks really good and I bought loctite for the threads as it recommends.

Did I mention that I *love* my Camaro5? :o)

Take care! Oh, will we go to A&W after ChriSStine's party?

Tara

I was going to ask everyone here, especially manual transmission folks and autocrossers; has anyone changed to DOT4 brake fluid in your master cylinders and has there been any problem with clutch dust contamination of hydraulic clutch/brake fluid? I bought some DOT4 and am going to try to change over and keep an eye on my brake fluid color as well. Any advice?

Thanks!

ChriSStine and I have switched. We are using Motul RBF 600. It has a high boiling temp and is a race brake fluid. Had that done when we had the SS (stainless steel) brake lines put in. They did not use the machine to pump thru the ABS. Just bled the from the rear and front and kept resevoir full. No problems so far. I wish they came with a seprate clutch resevoir rather than sharing clutch and brake.
I am scheduled home the afternoon of the 30th. Have to try to get my front tires mounted before the AutoX on Saturday. I'll gladly do the bracket for you. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hrs. Do you have time during the week that you are free? PM me and we will figure out a good time.

Y'all enjoy your Thanksgiving.

BTW I have found a place in Corpus off of Brownsville Rd that carries it(Motul RBF 600). It is an online store but I was able to go there (warehouse) and pick it up. No waiting.

Tara,
I haven't switched and I did not notice any issues at the AutoX. I have only raced once and may switch over as brakes get replaced, but for now I am OK with stock.
