Ok yall I talked to Frank and Rick today over at Unlimited Performance. Their dyno day starts at 0900 and will end when the sun goes down. Who all wants to go? If its not a lot then I will just post up the A&W run.

I will not be at Snapkas tonight. I will probably show up at the dyno day at some point tomorrow and same with A&W.

I'm glad that we are running the red course. Let's us higher horse power cars open it up. I'm tuned now so I'm interested to see how I do.

Mods, ADM scoop to my cheap KNN CAI, LT Headers 1 7/8s, 3" Xpipe to Flowmaster mufflers. Tune, and the sub frame bushings may have helped a little on the torque side of it IDK.

Clark what formula did you use to get the SAE corrected numbers?

Not sure they used the dyno computer to SAE correct the numbers for me. Where it says *observed* on your dyno sheet it says *corrected* on mine. My uncorrected numbers were 366rwhp and 390rwtq.

I emailed Rick from Unlimited. He checked and said my SAE rwhp was 399.

What kind of dyno does he have? Mustang? I thought a stock LS3 has 360-385. You got headers, CAI and exhaust and only 40-20 HP? That seems low but what do I know.

I am not sure what kind of Dyno it was. I thought it was a Dyno-Mite ??? I looked up on the internet and found this site.

That's correct we have a Dinomite dyno and typically on ours a stock ls3 M6 Camaro or Corvette puts down between 355 and 365 on the depending on the car. The intake alone gains 7-10rwhp. The headers 15-18. The tune 12-18.

Don't take that as bashing. I'm trying to educate myself and along the way if it helps someone else, then fine. Im no tuner but I know a Mustang reads lower. If you take into account a 20% drivetrain loss, then360 is right in the ball park. I've seen other stock cars closer to 380. I did some reading on SAE correction last night (nothing else to do here) to understand how it brings the numbers down. I was considering bring my car over to see how it compares to where the work was done. I'd expect a little lower number now that I know a little more considering temp and all that. Keep up the good work. You obviously have a huge following of loyal customers. Oh and I don't race so have no time slips for comparison. Been think about trying it tho. Not worried about how car would perform. More worried about driver. If I do and get some experience I'd be glad to post them.
