Camaro had a battle with a deer...

And ultimately is doing much better than the deer did. Insurance covered it, cant tell anything happened now, it was done super amazing. The bumper is obviously new, with new paint. Body shop said I could wax it as soon as I want to, no cure time.

Would any of you guys suggest waiting anyways? Feels too fast...lol

It's usually 30-60 days. But whatever the body shop tells you. They would know best on their work

With some advancements in paints you might have one that can be wax under 7 days, but rule of thumb the waiting time is around 30-90 days.

Agreed. In the end if waxing prematurely causes an issue they'd be responsible so if they say its good, its good.

Its entirely possible they baked the parts that were painted and use a paint with a shorter cure time so go with their advice and just make sure you document it to cover your butt (you never know)

I was told to wait 30 days by my shop when I had the door and fender painted. However if the shop says you can wax right away then I would trust them as they did the work and should know best.
