It's an add on controller so it should be able to control any RGB LED light sir.

Pretty slick setup.

Yes, the JDP kit uses a 3 channel anode-switched module, same as this. It will work fine!

only thing i notice is the connection on the back of the box are screw on terminals, meaning i would have to cut the wires on my JDP kit to splice then into this one correct?

The Red Geen and Blue wires from the LEDs you would connect directly to the Red Green and Blue terminals on this box.

No you would use one or the other. If you really wanted to use 2 there is a way to do it but lots of work when the 2 controllers have almost identical features.

We offer a RF version as well as this WiFi version which has a range of 300ft. If your range on the IR controller is short it may be because you have the sensor behind the windshield glass. The IR signal is reflected by the glass, you need to mount the sensor on the outside if you want more range.

The range is however far you can be away from the vehicle and still connect to the WiFi signal it produces. Outdoors and uninterrupted by obstacles like walls the range is over 300ft.

Is this easy to install? I already have the colorshift 2.0 installed in my vehicle but I didn't do the install my self. I love the color shift but the remote is kind of difficult to figure out out and it seems like controlling the lights with my cell phone would be much easier to do. Im ready to purchase but im just not to confident about the install process and I don't really want to pay a professional to do it because I just spent a small fortune having the lights put in. So in your opinion is the install doable for a person that really doesn't do this kind of work every day?

Any difference between yours and the one I linked below? If not, why the extreme difference in price?

We are not in Hong Kong, we don't charge $34 for shipping, you do not need to pay import customs duty from us, you don't have to ship to Hong Kong ($34 each way) if you have a warranty problem, we are not on the other side of the earth so we can provide phone service and real technical support.
