RJ's Build

Well my name is Brandon (I know the name is confusing, but I will explain). I started out with a 2010 Camaro 1lt that I inherited from my mother after she passed away (10 months ago). I had always had trucks so having a car was very new to me.

The Username RJ comes from my mother's name Ronda Jo Dinsmore and she is the reason I am the proud owner of a Camaro now. So after having the car for 4 months I sold my truck in the above picture, because I'm only 21 and I didn't want to insure 2 vehicles. (both were payed off however). Well I made the mistake of test driving a SS/RS m6 and this is where the story gets good. After I fell in love with the power and the benefits of a manual I had to have one. After a month of talking things over with my cousin at the local Chevrolet dealership I got a brand new 2011 Camaro 1SS/RS ordered and this is where my build starts...

I got in a small accident in my baby, but insurance took care of everything and then some :P so now with the insurance money and a hook up at my local paint shop I had my stripes removed, wheels painted, new front splitter from APR, tinted tails and corner lights, and heritage grille added.

In the past month I got my windows tinted and added Pfadt lowering springs done by Vengeance.
Now from here....I plan on headers, intake, full exhaust, cam, and tuned by vengeance as well as some interior upgrades to make it look like a 2SS

looks good. Though if I may, ditch the OEM lug nuts. Apex Speed sells gloss black ones - makes a huge difference in how the wheels look.

Only reason I removed was because they were white (kind of girly). Silver or black would have been great.

How do you like the APR splitter, I'm considering it myself? Any cons about it, the only thing I see is it appears you have to drill into your bumper? Thanks.

Looks good. Sorry about your story, know exactly how you feel (how I got my camaro too). Good luck with your build.
