And the vert goes to......

So I've given my convertible to my wife!

I've been looking at the '14s for a while now......i like them, and the rear lights and stuff.

So when i saw last night that Chevrolet is having the 72 hour sale for 0% for 72 months.....even the Camaro, I had to act.

Tomorrow I take delivery of my 2014 Summit White 2SS, Automatic, not a convertible.......

I really missed the Tapshift of my Grand Prix years ago, and to sit in traffic with the clutch in first, second, back to first....ugh.

Totally stoked......best of all, I am able to migrate most of my mods over to the new car. The CAI, the catch can, all can come over so that's cool.

Very excited. The car is gorgeous. The white, with the black accents. Awesome.

I will be getting those side gills right away, though....I really like how they make the sides have that nice definition.

And the hood of the 2SS......REALLY nice looking!

I'll post pics after I get it!

Oh and now I can have the auto start!!!!! PS to those with the auto start -- does it start the AC or heat when the car goes on depending on the season or do I have to pre-set the heat/AC?

The auto start will pre heat the seats, and blow cool or hot depending on what you have the temp set to, but not AC or heat, just warm or cool vent air. Still a whole lot better than nothing. Congrats on the new ride.

Thank you!

Oh right -- I forgot about the heated seats!

Have you seen the new rear view mirror? VERY classy style. The "buttons" are like the PS3 eject button -- a button but not a button you know what I mean? The whole mirror is borderless. Very very nice.

And the nice big LCD touch screen.....NAV too.

You have to preset the heat or AC for them to operate with the remote start. You must set them before shutting the car off for them to operate when the car is remote started.

Congratulations on your soon to be new Camaro. My wife is loving her new SS automatic. And daddy likes it too whenever he gets to drive it.
Mostly though I enjoy detailing it out and adding a few goodies to it. Sick ain't it.

Oh ,and our 2014 2LT RS that was my wife's , now belongs to my daughter. She sold her scion Tc and is loving her new Camaro as well. Win win for everyone.

Yep...My son and his wife also own a 2014 Camaro. We've gone Camaro crazy here lately. Red ,white, and silver. Hey, when you get yours, tell me if you can figure out what the removable blank is for on the passenger side lower front grill.

Is this 72 months thing applicable to GMC also?

Holy cow what a difference in everything between this and the 2011 vert. The ride is so solid, so smooth. Also so quiet!! Tap shift is going to be something to get used to since on my GXP I used to go by exhaust or engine sound. This I can't hear ANYTHING outside the cabin!!

It's amazing.

I loved my vert manual trans but didn't enjoy it. That's a big thing with me. I enjoy AND love this car.

But, if it's a truck you're looking for, the zero percent program is extended to the Chevy trucks too..... Just not the Vette.

OH yeah? The issue is I"m really liking the new Sierra Denali, and i have been planning on holding out for the 8 speed tranny, but if the right deal came forward, I would be willing to jump.

Long as the A/C was on in the 2013 2SS vert I rented when it got shut off if went right back to whatever it was when I remote started it. So the A/C would be on, I just remembered to set the fan speed to high before shutting if off and it would be nice and cool after remote starting it.

No clue about the heated seats, it was 109 degrees in phoenix lol.

Ill tell you what I told the guys at work when they heard. I didn't enjoy the vert.....I said that some things in theory don't pan out in practice. Case in point. You go and find yourself a model. Gorgeous, beautiful, looks smashing you think this will be a marriage in heaven. A year later, you're fighting just like any other marriage, etc.

Theory vs practice.

Ps, she's EXPENSIVE!! If they want her, they have to take the whole package!!!!!! Hahahaahhaahahahahahahah.

Pps im so glad she's not a member here......mwahahahahahaahha
