Mistake on my new Camaro title (NJ)

DMV made a mistake on my title. Under "model" they typed "CON" instead of "CAM" and under "body type", "CON". Anyone else from NJ have this mistake also? New Jersey mails out titles approx 4 weeks after purchase of the vehicles. (Car is conv.)

Body type is correct. Just give them a call and the will mail you a new title.

The model "CON" when typed on titles in NJ stands for the chevy concours, last built in approx. '77.

Whoever typed it in used "CON" for convertible. Then they accidentally put it under the model and body type when they should have put CAM under Model and CON for body type.

Nope. Go look. Only 2 seat belts...if it doesn't have a seat belt it can't be counted as a seat

There are only 2 real seats in the back. It doesn't count that you can fit someone on the tranmission hump. That's no seat. If it were based on how many people you can stuff back there I bet I could get more than 4 if I stacked them just right.

I don't think they would consider it a seat unless there were proper seat belts in place and there are only four.

I had a '69 Ford conv. in '76. I had 10 people and went to the Frampton, Yes and Gary Wright concert at JFK stadium in Phila. Top down, radio cranked, people hanging out and no ticket for unsafe vehicle! Those were the days! Nobody wore the 5 seatbelts!
