Tuning a v6

Anyone have any opinions?

I don't think that would cross his mind..
and I think we would be talking in the sense of "performance"

You do get a initial tune before you send in information then you get a retune after they look at the data logs, but Op there is also Hypertech tune it's a handheld tune

Trifecta does make a good tune for the V6. I was going to go that route with mine.

And anyone who says "sell and get a V8" is just being a jerk.

Especially since so many V8 owners tune theirs to delete AFM if nothing else. That'd be like saying "Tune your SS? Sell it and get a ZL1."

I'll be doing Trifecta when my warranty is out.

Really depends on what year v6, if you are talking about a 2010/2011 There aren't many choices, the 2012's use an E39 pcm which at least you have some custom tuning options ie HPTuners, etc. as we just released our E39 software for Camaro's and it gives you a ton of adjustability.

Apparently IPF Tuning offers something for the LLT/LFX. I bought the Trifecta tune for my LLT, but have yet to install it. I thought there were more tuning options to soon be available for the LFX since the ECM is more tuner-friendly.

Out of curiosity, how many miles do you have to go until 100K?
