Have you guys at ACS ever thought about custom engine covers? I have been tossing around the idea of one for my V6 that mimicks the ACS TL1 insert. Just wish I had the skills to modify my engine cover to look like that.

Agreed.

Thinking satin black, AGM, or a dark silver.

Original idea was satin black with a gloss black border on sides and front.

I left it on and place a wool blanket under it to keep the shavings out.
The back holes are difficult this way, so I may still take it off...

...painting today...

I left mine on too, I didn't have any difficulty with the back two holes, I used a cordless drill and a 1" hole saw and it worked perfectly. I didn't even take the windshield washer assembly off. I had more trouble trying to get the water deflector on, but I slotted the back two holes in the deflector then started the bolts a couple threads then slipped the backside of the deflector over them. It worked great that way.

Well, I'm having issues with paint. Satin doesn't want to lay right and I'm not satisfied with it.

Two different quotes put it at $300.

Vinyl will not cover it in one piece.

Too bad the hydro wasn't an option when I bought mine.

Maybe I'll try AGM.
