Maybe I'll try AGM.
Shop that shot mine Satin black added to much clear, so I had them shoot it AGM glad I made the switch.

I can't do AGM, I like the satin too much with SGM...

At the painter soon and will be ready next week.

Just went today to pick mine up from a GM dealer paint and body.Had it painted summit white. It had probably 9-12 bad spots (dirt),unbelievable, that's the reason I didn't paint it in my garage.I left it with them to fix.

I had planned to get the ZL1 rockers but I actually like the GFX rockers, as for the wheels no I am thinking about getting the black 10-spoke wheels if I decided not to keep these.

I would love to buy one of these but im unsure if it will work with a vararam equipped car. Or that if it did I wouldn't get the full benefit of having the vents because the intake would be blocking air flow.

Pics of my ZL1 Hood

Thanks to Patrick; he's been of great feedback and support; had some trouble installing so professional guidance would be nice; had problems with the template but it could be also the guy who did the Fiber Carbon finish (3M Carbon Fiber) but anyways... great mod. Also bought the T2 Bumpers and Quad lightning. Sorry I'm not a good camera guy but did what I could. Probably by end of February will have a photo session of my car. Thanks. (Btw I'm from Peru).

Sorry some of the pics you see the car somewhat dirty, the workshop has a lot of dust

Thanks to Patrick for all the feedback and thanks to him it was possible to get the parts from Canada to Peru

Nice work -

Keep us posted on the carbon wrap hold up.... I did that on a replica hood and with the engine bay heat - I could not keep it tucked and it wanted to keep retreating / peeling off.... Your wrapper would have had to use a lot of the extra lock glue to keep it in place because the product is designed to move with the same type of heat that the vents will be pushing out.

All of that aside your wrapper did a good job because that's a very complex wrap - I can confirm that from multiple attempts

Far as now I didnt have any problems... as for the guy who did the wrap it did quite a job; its was almost flawless... the only issue was he wrapped it too tight (I think) that it bent the TL1 replica and left a gap between it and the hood; but since I gave it to a professional to install it (I was with him) he fixed that gap by filling the little gap with the Black Glue (sorry I don't know the name in English) and then cleaned it with a crystaline liquid leaving it like without problems. Far as now I haven't driven it a lot but I see no problem yet. I'll try to get better pictures next time by someone who knows how to take nice pictures

I recommend a professional guy to do the wrap; when I saw it I know I wouldn't be able to do it myself; looks like its easy but I doubt you can do it yourself; needs practice after practice; nice wrapping by whoever did the wrapping.

Well birds already baptized my TL1 Hood Conversion Kit :v damn you birds; also I checked today after driving it to the local dealer (had a problem with the engine, nothing related with the TL1 Conversion Kit related with Engine Power Reduced) to fix the problem and install/program the PDIM Kit (180 bucks there yikes >.>) and checked the ram, it was warm/hot but the wrap stayed still and firm so no problem with that :3 so I'd recommend 3M Carbon Fiber Wrap; CamaroSS45 did you wrap it also using 3M Carbon Fiber or used another american brand/chinese imported wrap?

I don't know if this is due to the wrap. My insert does not follow the lines of my hood in the front... I have to push it down while tightening the bolts.

Did any one else notice this?

Still wanting on the paint. The painter has it now and said he should be done by the weekend...

Here is a quick picture of it before... This is unbolted; you can see the gap I'm talking about...

Goo, I had that gap too... thought it was my carbon fiber wrap (you wrapped it too btw, might be the wrap)... well the guy who did the profesionnal install tightened the bolt as much as he could (not super tight so it wouldn't bend the aluminum hood) and filled the gap with the black glue (sorry I don't know the name) apart from applying as suggested he filled the gap after being bolted; then used a crystaline liquid (Can't remember the name) to clean it up; and it dried and at least at first glance you don't see it was filled with anything. Suggestion if you have that issue; thats how the guy fixed it.
