HydroCarbon the TL1 is not easy, it took 5 tries, but we have it figured out.

We can get these done, we need to send out 10, dipping option is 300$.

If we can gather the interest and enroll in our pre-order list of 10. We'll do it. In
the meantime I will get more pictures.

And thank you for posting feedback !
Are these currently for sale and how much are they?

The type CAI that sits on the top of the radiator will not work with the water drain. You will probably have to go to either stock or a CAI that mounts where the stock air box is located.

I was thinking of installing one myself but I was afraid it would hit my blower and water issues.

2 questions:

1. Would it hit my 2.8L kenne Bell?
2. What option could I use to make sure when it rains that no water hits any parts in and around engine?

If this is all good then I surely would be interested in getting the hydro dipped version!

Thanks.

We have not tested it with a KB. It does pretty much offer the same clearance as your stock hood. If you clear the stock hood you should be fine.

Perhaps a customer will chime in and confirm the combination.

As for the water, the tray will divert the water towards the front, away from critical engine components.

I have had my insert on now for 3 months and I have not seen any ill effects with the standard water tray (drain). and mine sits outside 24/7 and we have had plenty of rain and snow in the last 3 months..
