I mean the under hood piece.

There's this one...

And a ZL1 style piece. Is there a benefit to one over the other?

I guess it depends if you need more clearance for your particular setup.

That's fine, I like it like this but I have a couple more ideas before I am done with it.

TL1 water deflector

Here's a few pics of the water deflector. Looks very good. Did my first wash yesterday and not a single drop got to he engine. Also had my first show and a lot of people likes the idea keeping the OEM stripes looks and the TL1 blending into it.

It should work just fine. Just protect the wrap while cutting. Otherwise the hoods are the same.

I finished up my insert today, I reinstalled the mesh and added a 1/4 pinstripe around the painted stripe. I think it looks better this way.

Hey man when you PM'd me the other day I had it in my mind you were asking about a different type CAI. I went to the Rotofab Website and looked at a picture and I think there should be no problem with interference of the TL1 drain and your intake. Sorry about the confusion but I was thinking about the Vararam intake at the time.

Here's a pic of where the water will fall. It's the YELLOW section just over the fender.

I would like to have another option available. ACS makes four different versions of their bumper ports and three different versions of their chin splitters, so why not have more than one version of a hood insert

I shouldn't have gone to the shop. Went to purchase the TL1 Extractor Insert and came away with a Nickey Chicago Stinger hood and the T4 Front Bumper Ports.

I like to thank Joe and all the guys at ACS for their hospitality and professionalism, was a very pleasurable afternoon.
