If I'm not mistaking, if the Nickey Stinger Hood was Rally Yellow, it's the one that I had on my car. I've had lots, nad lots of compliments on that. But I decided to go a different route with all the mods I did this summer.

Those who have installed these...is there any problem with the paint/clear coat bubbling or peeling due to the heat being exhausted from the engine compartment?

Main thing is make sure the template is on exactly lined up where it needs to be before marking the holes. Once you mark the holes double check to make sure the template has not moved and you should be good to go.
You may have to tweak the mounting holes a little by enlarging the front two slightly. When you bolt it down do the center two first, then the back two.
Have your friend push down on the front part to keep it against the hood while tightening the front two. Do not over tighten though or you may have dimples in the hood at the front corners.
After you see everything lines up good you can remove it and put the adhesive on the underside of the insert keeping it back from the edge. Re install the insert as before pressing down on it on moth sides and the front to make sure the adhesive does not hold it away from the hood any because it is kind of stiff.

If you are doing it on the car you can slot the back two holes on the water diverter and start the bolts in before sliding the water diverter onto them and then put in the front center bolt in and tighten them all up.
Another tip is to put the hood liner back in after cutting the hole and mark the opening. Then uses pair of sizzors to cut it out.

It certainly wasn't the easiest thing I've done. But it wasn't bad. Time consuming.
