Correct but IMHO the ACS insert is so much better both for looks plus pulling a good chunk of the hit air out if the engine compartment. A win win in my book ACS did a fantastic job I love mine.

Are you giving discounts to forum members?

How is the edge of the insert attached to the hood? Is there any chance wind at high speeds can get under the edge to blow it off the car?

No it is bolted on plus during final assembly you use a windshield adhesive to also glue it on. If your windshield does not blow out at speed I doubt this will blow off... I have driven only up to 90 but it didn't move.

I love. Great idea...lol

So I got it done in Ashen Gray. Now I put it on and hated it. Seriously, I did not work for me. Now I'm stuck. Think of either just doing satin black and call it a day. My uncle suggested leaving the vents in ashen, and paint everything else in SIM. I kind of think that'll be different and look good.

Opinions??

When I saw Ashen on a Camaro. I loved it. But it does not go with my SIM IMO. It just doesn't look/feel right to me. I'm gonna try the vents in Ashen and do the rest in silver. If that's no good, satin black. Good thing my uncle doing it and only cost me a case of beer each time (which he shares with me)

Interested in seeing just the vents...

Wondered how that would look after seeing the C7 pictures...

I think it's because the rest of your parts are SIM (heritage grille, front lip, ports), the AGM insert sticks out a lot. I would go with the whole insert/vents in SIM and insert mesh grille in black.
