If it said LG or LG Motorsports I'd be fine with it. But a made up play on Z28 on a series of cars where no Z28 is available is silly. Are you that dense to call people stupid for a differing opinion of taste? Apparently.

It'll go great with some ZL2 badges I'll get made up to go on my 1LB package Camaro.

Guys,

Here's an article from 1998 that talks about the LG ZR28.....I doubt that the LG guys woulda been thinking about a play on the Z28 name and brand from that long ago for this line of Camaros personally.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...rmance_trends/

It's LG's brand....you know their hood is also the LG ZR28 Hood too right?

Hopefully folks can understand why LG and other companies like them actually brand their product and name.

I think it's smart and a cool idea!

it says ZR28 and that is the name of the wheel they want to call it just like every other wheel manufacturer, 90% of wheels have a stamp of choice on the wheel. Either buy them or dont, but asking them to remake a wheel casting is a bit much.

Uh oh it's the opinion police. Customer feedback can be taken or not, it doesn't make people stupid when they disagree with you on a matter of taste. Other companies are working on these as well and they won't have it on there. They don't have to recast anything, someone else will do it for them while helping to keep prices down through competition.

And I don't see anyone stating LG didn't come up with the acronym or that they have a history with it.

For me I'd rather not have ZR28 on the wheels.

I think these wheels look like great reproductions, and applaud LG for bringing a affordable reproduction to the market, fairly quickly too.

It will have the ZR28 on the wheel.....again going off of the new hood, and other future body work.

As interested in these as I am, I am curious if these will actually be successfully manufactured. I was a part of the original LS7 replica wheel group buy which was blown up by GM. I was one of about 70 members that had a 50% deposit for several months that ultimately did not get made.

I do love these wheels and will buy a set if they get made, but have concerns.

My fingers are crossed...

Awesome. The ZR28 wouldn't bother me also I'd prefer without. But I understand the reasoning for having it on here. Not a deal breaker for me

I have been thinking the same thing. In fact I was wondering if they purposely stamped something on the wheels (ZR28) to make it different than the OEM wheels to allow GM to produce it.

I could care less what it says... If they can make the wheel and it looks as good as the OEM... then I'm all in especially if its in the 1500 range.

This! And I already put my deposit down, as I know they will look great.

We will see... I love the wheels and almost ordered a set from the dealer, but the $700+/wheel price kept me from pulling the trigger. If they do get made I will be getting a set for sure...

You could put the "ZR28" on the center wheel cap.

I was looking to get these wheels, but looking to have them painted midnight silver like my OEM wheels. Do you know when this will become an option?

If ZR28 gets you that upset then grind it off & have the wheels refinished

$1699 a set but if you put your deposit in before October 31st, you'll save $100.

Deposits are being taken, get at either us or LG directly!

Gonna be a great looking wheel and the price is more than right!

Yep,

$1695.95 will be retail on them.

If you have a deposit in with us or a dealer prior to the end of this month, your cost will be $1595.95 + shipping.
