I feel for all you guys! I have followed these wheels since the very beginning and almost put a deposit down when they where $100 cheaper, but something told me to wait because another company would make them cheaper. Then FP came out and I got excited. Then the cease and desist........damnnit. Then the new versions which got me excited again. I personally like LGs design better but for the price the other version is close enough. I kept my eyes open for OE but they were always too much. Then I found a wheel and tire set on Ebay for 2750, I could not pass it up. There were 2 sets and I jumped on the first one and the other sold the next day. The only thing I do like about LG is they claim they are going to be powdercoated. Good luck guys I hope you get what you want soon.

Yep same compoany you purchased your set from is asking $4500 for a set now SOB's are sitting on them now for 7 days. I offered them $2800+S&H he said no thanks these will be gone in less than an hour, so I sent him a text yesterday telling him my offer stands seeing they are still available.

+10 days since these wheels were to ship to customers

Why not drop ship the wheels to customers from the manufacture?

Hell at this point I will pay out of my pocket to have that done just to get my wheels.

Still very surprised we have had ZERO info from LG as to when the wheels will ship, we know some are done so what is the hold up. Never a good idea to keep your paying customers in the dark we want LG to succeed in selling these but it makes it difficult when we have no info when we will receive these.

Well Monday starts my new countdown # of days until I CANCEL my order! Once Doug at FR emails me for payment I am out of the running for these wheels I will confirm my order for the Factory Reproduction wheels at least I know those wheels have shipped to them.

I will give LG 2 weeks to have wheels in my hands or I cancel 5/17 is the day. I have always said who ever can get me wheels 1st win.

I am 100% disappointed that Lou has not chimed in to offer us some answers. Hell I am even offering to pay extra to have these drop shipped from the manufacture just to get them.

Anthony can we get an update sometime today on the status of having the first order or part of the first order shipped express?

Thanks

You guys want to pay extra for express shipping?

I mean come on. Your already getting flat out lied to, about not only the ship date, but where it is made, and where it is.

If I was Lou I would be shipping these next day air for free when I receive them, even if it costs 800 dollars per set.

The profit margins for him must not be so low since he is driving a ZL1 and going racing this weekend.

It is just unbelievable to me to see you guys getting ripped off and then wanting to pay extra to get these rims faster

How do you know they will even ship with express? They might just charge extra and ship with parcel post!

I wouldn't trust the company making these wheels with anything!

Im glad there is another set of replica ZL1 rims being made, and Im ecstatic that I did not place a deposit for these wheels.

I'm not gonna pay for express shipping, LG is trying to get the first order or a portion of it shipped express at their cost. I couldn't imagine how much it would cost to have each set of rims dropped shipped express from China!

· The plant in China who makes our Style 41 wheel also manufactures wheels for foreign and domestic auto manufacturers.

· All of our wheels meet or exceed the standard J2530 developed by the Society of Automotive Engineers. J2530 is similar to the German TUV and Japanese VIA, JWA and JWT standards.

· The finish of our wheels is as durable as an “OEM”. We also subject our wheels to the same salt spray tests for finish durability.

· We employ an independent 3rd party quality control company. This company has employees on the manufacturer’s premises in China to inspect and verify that the wheels are made to our specifications.

· We warranty what we sell complete detail on our website www.factoryreproductons.com

I have also been asked why our Style 41 wheel is less expensive than other wheels offered in ZL1 sizes on this forum. I do not know how other companies formulate their pricing. Our pricing is based on cost plus a reasonable profit not “what the market will bear”.

I take exception to the comments of another member/vendor on this forum who implies that our wheels must be sub-standard as a reason for the price differential. The quality and durability of our wheels are measured by objective industry standards not superlatives such as “race proven” or “crash tested”. Besides how do you “crash test” a wheel you don’t even have? Is there a warrany?

Founded in 1998, Factory Reproductions is the largest replica wheel company in the United States.

We got there by providing a product that is second to none backed by outstanding customer service.
at least these guys are replying....

c'mon guys. there should at least be an update, but not even a reply yet.
this is ridiculous. u guys said mid april. we were asked to pay in full by april 15th (i believe) if we wanted to be in the first batch out; some of us got tires just for these wheels and still nothing concrete...
some of us have had deposits in since last november.....

whats going on? u why no reply

if someone dropped the ball and severely fawked things up, just let us know. i for one probably wont go the other route as i liked the original too much, but at least i can have my money back and put that money on other mods...... this blows

Sad to see this but not sure why there is STILL NO UPDATES!!!!! a couple have already jumped ship. Others like Stetch in the process of doing that and people like me that still have hope are still hanging on but by a VERY thin line!!!! Soon everyone will abandon ship and sets of LG wheels will just be sitting probably still at the werehouse!!! I belive that one of the biggest reasons why people are jumping ship too is because we have yet to hear From anyone from LG with an update on sets of wheels that should have been delivered to us the customers over a week and a half ago!!! Myself like many others bought tires, new TPMS sensors, lug nuts, wheel locks, .... and still have no wheels to put all this stuff on We want answers to our questions otherwise the few of us that are still hanging on will soon be leaving too!!!! If you are not getting the wheels anytime soon too please let us know!!!!!!

As I said...I'm not posting anything until I have a wheel in my hands.

When I do..pictures will be posted and UPS notices will start going out within minutes of that.

I know what Lou has told me and that we will have some being sent Air to us so I should have 10-15 sets ready to go by next week........possibly even Monday/Tuesday but I do not have any shipping tracking numbers in my hands yet.

Thank you for being patient....I know this has taken everyone much longer than first thought....if it wasn't for the mold change we would already be working on the second production run.
