JRE SUPERCOOLER FITS THE ZL-1 OR ANY PD BLOWER

http://jreperformanceparts.com/gm/20...ice-chest.html

Just thought I would share this info for those of you looking to have Killer Low IAT for Drag Racing.

We developed and run this system on SuperchargedSS car who knocks down 10.0 ET over 137 MPH like breaking sticks in the Heat of the Day.

Ted.

Is this basically a remote reservoir one could fill with ice?

6 gallons of fluid sure sounds like a bunch of extra weight (almost 50lbs plus hardware). my rx/chiller weighs about 7lbs and keeps me super cool in the florida heat. id probably shoot ice cubes out if i was in conneticut

I like the idea of the Chiller, and have to read more about how it works on a track when I thought the A/C turns off under WOT...

However - it seems to me that any weight this water would add in your system would do to IATs more good than weight bad to the car... That's just me.

Thanks for the info' Ted

The weight is as much as a positive as the cooling benefits. I need all the help I can get in the traction dept. The tank is centered over the rear end so it puts weight in both tires. I also race with a full gas tank. Doesn't seem to hurt my 700 rwhp car cut 1.4 60's.

So it's mounted in the trunk and lines go to the engine compartment thru the car or under the car?
