Maxing out incentives

So ive been all through the gm site looking at prices and incentives trying to figure out how i can "steal" a 2013 1le 1ss rs. in a perfect world i would like to get one for about $32000 or less out the door with 4k down. The problem i have is finding out which discounts, offers, rebates and incentives can be combined. i qualify for the military, credit union, usaa, college student, and Costco discounts. I can get a private offer $1000, and there is supposedly a SECRET $1500 "see dealer for details" incentive/customer cash floating around for my area. i have read the pdf's on the gm current offers site but none of them say what the limitations are on combining these offers.

Any help from dealers, experienced persons who have maxed out the free money or gm employees who deal with these things would be awsome. Hopefully i can set the record for the lowest cost 1le for 2013

It has been my experience that private offers cannot be combined; ie $1000 GM private offer, $750 USAA private offer, $500 Farm Bureau private offer, etc. cannot be combined. You have to pick one and use only that one.

I believe that you can, however, combine private offers and rebates, but I am not aware of any rebates for 2013 Camaros at this time.

You CANNOT combine private offers. You CAN combine 1 private offer with ALL of the available rebates. At this time (and for quite a while now), there are NO REBATES for the Camaro. It does not appear that there will ever be any rebates on the Camaro. They sell WAY too good for GM to give a rebate on them. Good luck.

so what is 1500 customer cash tht ive seen on some of the car buying sites is that a private offer. all of the dealer sites say that there is something available but they all say see dealer for details. could that be something the dealers are doing themselves to boost sales volume

Customer cash is basically a rebate. It is stackable with "Dealer Cash" and a private offer. "Dealer Cash" is also simply a rebate.

VQ35DE, what makes you think there is a $500 rebate on 2012's?

If you don't believe me , MAYBE you will believe GM. I don't know about your zip code but in my region (zip 38261) the 2012's have $500.

Use this and choose your options. Keep in mind that the dealer has additional hold backs of 3% off MSRP. The lowest I see you getting a 1LE for is invoice, if the dealership is feeling generous. They will not be with the first model year of this rather sought after package. Good luck.

I thought I sawanother thread where someone got $1000 under invoice for a 1LE. Is GM accepting GMCard earnings for the 1LE? Can it be combined with other rebates and private offers?

Unless he has family that works at his dealer, I dont think he could have gotten that low. Then agian, if the dealer is high volume I guess he wouldnt mind not making that much off a car to a regular customer. My grandfather used to get amazing deals on his cars, but he traded them in every year on the newer model, which is a pretty good idea if you think about it.
