Anything that runs high 12's or slower. Thats probably 98 percent of all vehicles on the road.

You guys are silly.
You should be able to beat anything slower than 12.9s or so.

If you've got a good tune, you should be able to run 12.9 @ 108/109 mph in decent conditions (I did).
I beat every stock LS3 M6 Camaro that lined up next to me with just a tune.

But some hand held tuners don't produce gains like a good dyno tune. I raced a guy that had a hand held tuner (my car is dyno tuned by a well know tuner in my area) and I consistantly beat him by .4 tenths (he had intake and tune to my tune only and I beat him easily every run).

Very broad question and couple unknowns about you and your car.

1. How much seat time do you have?

2. What's the DA like where you live? (you must be talking drag racing of course...)

3. Are you running a 91 or 93 octane equivalent? If not, it's entirely concievable a car setup like mine will beat your L99 at the track. (ask me how I know)

Well shit if you're already tuned go get some long tubes and retune. Then you'll be beating a lot of cars. Stock 5.0s are nothing after headers.

Maybe that's what you tach is reading.
6700 rpms is way too high for your setup (L99, A6). You should drop your shift points to around 6100 rpms or so.

Not all stock 5.0s run mid 12s.

We all know the 5.0 has the advantage over the Camaro SS. But an L99 A6 with intake and a tune can run high 12s @ 109 mph. That's what my car consistantly ran with those mods. I never ran slower than 12.9x after getting my L99 A6 tuned (L99s need a tune badly). And yes, I had a fun day beating a stock 5.0 with just those mods.
(My high 12s to his low 13s) in decent conditions.

So it doesn't have to be April 1st for a L99 A6 (with intake and tune) to beat a stock 5.0.
