Can I use other pads with the adams backing plate on PC

I have been buying mostly Adam's products, and they do a great job but I like to experiment and try other products as well and would like to try different pads on my PC but I'm not sure which others I can use wtih the backing plate I have,as I'm still getting into this level of detailing still many things I don't know and it seems like there is a lot to learn,so I appreciate any input from the pros.

Most backing plates and pads (other than some older 3M style) use a hook n' loop attachment (Velcro is a brand of hook n loop). As long as the size is correct, you should be able to use any modern pads with the Adam's backing plate.

I believe Adams backing plate is too big for most manufacturers pads...

Anything with a hook and loop velcro is usable, just need to make sure it fits the plate. (6").
