TALK ABOUT A CLUTCH

Well we have found a clutch for the car and this will be the second one to be installed in a ZL1. It will take a little machine work to get her to fit but she should put the power to the wheels. This is a tripple disc carbon clutch " BC3+ " The guys at RPS hooked us up and sent it out overnight.

I dont know that there is a part number yet. The first one is installed but it is not running yet. We told RPS that we are not playing and that if they send us the clutch we will get it installed and on the road ASAP even if we had to run it to the machine shop twice a day. Lord willing the car will be on the road by Thursday and Friday night it will be making a few passes at the track. This clutch combined with the engine mods and the 17" drag slicks better put the car on its back bumper when the lights turn green. I don't want Brandon to have any excuses when my all engine C6 walks off on him.

We don't have time for RP. Saturday is our Halloween party and we will be busy getting things ready for our customers. Our office is right next to the airport so we can pull off a quick Friday night at HMP 1/8 and get home. If we tried to go to RP we would not get home until after midnight. All of this will depend on getting the clutch installed and working. No one is driving around on one of these clutches yet so we will just have to see how it plays out.
