724HP and 677FT-LB on 91 octane pump gas!

Blue is stock, Red is modified. This is an amazing combo!

Check out the build thread to see what I did to it.

Thanks to Damon, Keith, and KDI and New Era, as well as the whole crew at Loud Pedal in Tempe, AZ, and David with Mast Motorsports in Texas.

OMG Torque curve - above 600 ft/lbs from 2500 to 6500 rpm? Nasty!

:-D its like a feakin jeckyl an Hyde! You can be driving easy, and shifting at 3k, keeping those muffler butterflies closed and quiet but anywhere from 2k up, squeeze that hammer down, and and the car says, "oh you want some!" and responds with the sound of a sprint cup stock car and proceeds to shred the tires!

If you can squeeze the throttle slowly enough initially to not break the tires loose it sets you back very firm.

WOW...awesome is an understatement. 724 RWHP equates to roughly 850 flywheel when you consider the typical 15% driveline loss. Congrats!

So doesn't this qualify him for the highest Hp ZL1 yet on pump gas?

Wow! I hadn't even thought about that. I just figured I was trying to join the club of 700+ HP cars. Course that's a difficult thing to estimate since so many folks post crank hp estimates. Makes it confusing. Do we estimate 15% loss or 12% loss, etc?

I think we would have to assume 580hp at the crank and then get an average of dynos of stock cars....manual and autos being different of course.

I'm guessing 700 hp is the safe limit for these cars.

Not at all. We have seen well north of 800. It's all in the tune.
