As of right now it does not look like Borla is going to have an exhaust for the V6. All that is listed on their site currently is for the V8. There has been a lot of talk that the GMPP exhaust is made by Borla however it is just a bolt on and not a full exhaust system.

I have Borla on my Passat--Love it

They have told me that they have a cat back system for both the V8 and the V6 Caamaro on the way. I am a big fan of Borla cat backs. I wouldn't go for the full exhuast system as there may be warranty issues.

I ordered the Borla Touring Catback for my SS. Was 1,500 shipping included. The two systems the show on the web are described exactly the same. One is aggressive and one is touring. The Touring edition is the milder sound...and about 30 bucks more.

That should make since because Borla usually makes factory performance exhausts for OEM companies.

I ordered the Borla S type for my car from ZZCamaro and will be put on at the same time as my S/C from Lingenfelter. We'll see how it sounds - hopefully pretty good. I checked out a lot of you tube videos on the C6 with Borla and really like it.

I think you will be very happy with the sound of the Borla. Always a nice deep sound!!
Throw in the whine of the supercharger and....

Change of plans... Canceled my Borla order and going with Corsa. Should have it installed in two weeks... Will post Video then.

I visited the Hennessey shop today and was quite impressed with the upcoming Camaro goodies they have going. Decided to go with all their stuff.

Here's a video of the old 3.8 V6 with a custom borla dual-exhaust.

Long tubes, high flow cats, no resonators, and Borla XR-1 mufflers unless I'm much mistaken (the only part I'm not sure about is the cats. It may be catless or gutted instead of high-flow).

These are the mufflers I'm going to use on my V6 - mostly because flow testing proves that they have absolutely no restriction. Thats right, they flow the same CFM as a straight pipe. Score one for Borla!

Xanthos, if the new V6 sounds anything like that with that exhaust, I think I will do it.

I have to ask - which ones did you go with, what did they do with the resonators, etc etc?

Bummer. Quit wasting your money and just put some Cherry Bomb glasspacks on there and call it a day.

About 10 years ago Super Chevy Magazine test various mufflers for both sound and performance, they concluded that the glass pack they tested actually decreased performance! Now whether that`s the case with all glass packs or just that particular one that was tested was never explained in the article, my personal choice for my Chevelle were the Flow Master American Thunder series.

Please post a video.

One thing, Borla's advertise a lower interior resonance. Perhaps that is whats giving you the impression that the sound hasn't changed much?

Thanks for the video but the thing I would much rather hear are those Borla`s under load and running through the gears both normal and full out.
