Mark,
I really don't think I can make it down to Camaro Fest this year because of the 15 1/2 hour drive! I have a really, really bad back after numerous surgeries and I know my back would be killing me and I would then have to take to many pain pills and then not enjoy myself. I'll let you know what I can figure out because I would really like to meet so many of the guys on the forum! I sure hope you are able to keep your car but I do understand if you have to get rid of it.

Hope to get some more parts delivered this week, I really need to get the car all back together so it's ready, if we ever get rid of this dam snow!! Take care.

Bill

Bill,

Nice car, wonderful mods & I am interested in doing some of them, once I get delivery of the car.

I just wonder how it feels when you have to strip your new car to pieces, them install it back again.

To you I say

Drive safe

Carbon fiber parts

Here are some carbon fiber (hydro-dipped) parts I got installed and also installed some leather pieces on the center console area. I'm going to also get some leather for the lower center console covers. Enjoy!

Can you post a few shots of the car exterior from further back ?
I would really like to see how the carbon fiber ground effects looks as a package.
This is one of the options I am considering for my car.
Thanks !

Leather console

I just finished installing leather strips on my two lower center console pieces and E-Brake cover from RedlineGoods.com and also wired up the LED light for the wind restrictor. Also got my steering wheel swapped out.

I'm going to Sturgis at the end of the month and I'm pretty sure that G3 Composites out of Florida will not have my hood insert repaired and back to me. Boy I'm really mad at myself for using this company, I should of took all the stuff I read about him to heart before sending my insert to him! Communication has been terrible and the quality that I've seen so far is not very good at all. I guess I will chalk this up to a really hard lesson learned about this company and I will not recommend him to anybody else that's for sure!!

So to all my fellow Camaro owners, I recommend that you DO NOT not use G3 Composites!!!!

Still no hood insert!!!

I'm still without a hood insert! Still getting the run around from G3 Composites. I wonder if I will get my part before we hit the one year mark? I'm going to throw a party when I finally my hood insert back. I told him to send my hood insert back to me right now, I don't care what condition it is in, I just want my part back and I will find someone local to fix it.

Going to the Good-Guys all American Sunday in the morning. There were lots of really nice cars last year. It is supposed to be really hot with allot of humidity, around 100 plus!

Man your car looks AWESOME!!!! All that carbon fibre... I want..I want!!! I think you've really out did yourself. I'd love to put that on my ZL1. Talk about the icing on the cake. Mine's AGM vert and it's got the carbon hood insert and if it had the rest of the front end done like yours. WOW!!!

Great car obviously! Love all the mods your doing. Those wheels you have are definitely on my list.
Did you get the tire/wheel package or just the wheels?

I bought the rims from FactoryReproductions.com. I know he doesn't have them in stock right now because I need a front rim. I gouged the outer edge of my front passenger rim real bad while loading my car onto a car trailer, when I was leaving Sturgis a couple weeks ago. Pissed me off so bad! The new rim is on backorder now. Take care and enjoy your car!

Just talked to Doug over at factory reproductions, and they just got a container in... so go get your wheel!!

I'll be ordering mine soon..

Another question any issues with shakes or shimmys with the new wheels? Or do they balance up nice.
