How do you Strip?

Wax off your car?

Slowly... So slowly..

Your method above is perfect. You got it. You can also add some apc to your foam mix.

I've noticed that if you have a fresh layer of wax, it's a good idea to test if your paint is still sheeting or beading. Sometimes you need to do 2 washes and add APC both times to fully get rid of wax.

I thought it was okay to use dawn dish soap to remove wax. Should I get something else? I always have dawn on hand.

It definitely is. It works perfectly fine as well. More than one way to skin a cat

I have both Dawn and Chemical Guys Citrus Wash N Gloss (one of the most widely used products to strip wax). Both seem to work great! I just like CGWNG because it's more foam and fun to use
