sounds like it's going to come together nicely you know the official TE fascia blackout has the cybertronian letters, right? they don't look like they're highly visible, being black on black, but they're there. dunno if you care about that, but that's why i bought mine from mnp instead, it's just straight black.

also, showstopperaccessories and billetcustom have a lot of orange billet pieces available to dress yours up some more, if you're not done shopping lol

My first camaro saw about 1500 in mods before I made the first payment. I actually traded that car before i ever made a payment on it.

lmao...sounds like a potentially interesting story...looks like you even installed them before you traded!

i'm compiling my mod list with prices and sources in a word doc right now, with received/ordered/planned and sources

edit: oh wait, that's the infamous flooding vert you're talking about! now it makes sense...

Holy cow! I'm only on page 13 of this thread and I cannot believe it! I couldn't wait to page 15 to write to you guys.

Congrats to those of you who got shipments! I was going to write to Becky today for the group and saw all the good news here and on her thread. Excellent!

I've written my sales guy to ask for a rail car number too. Thanks for all the phone info to track rail cars.

And last week my dealer said 12/3 in my post 295. I'm in San Jose. Looks like we should all be getting them close together.

And it seems that we had to wait for Lio before the shipped the lot.

Oz .... welcome to the club. It's a sickness. Never thought I'd have gotten so wrapped up in it and I LOVE it. Thanks to guys like you and the dirty dozen this has been fun. Facebook's got nothin' on the C5 forum!

I feel like we need a cruz night but it might be hard with you way out there. At least Hertz rents Camaro 5 SS's.

I never told you guys but I rented one in Chicago on my last business trip after ordering the 1LE. Somehow I convinced Hertz to give me the $50 rate vs. what they were asking ($75). I kept driving it around at night trying to get a feel for the car. I know the 1LE will be different. And yes, at that moment, the sickness began ....

i dunno about that "all" part, lol...mine's still got a lot further west to go.
maybe i'll have all my mods received before i get the car, then i can take a week to install everything and cruise in circles around the island

they were only asking $75?!?! i thought about doing that after i ordered, but rates out here are twice that on a weekday, over 3x for a weekend day!

and idk about the sickness part, i just have a vision of how i want the car. once i get it there, i'll stop. did the same thing with my computer build right now i'm negotiating with TRS about what wiring harness i need for the retrofit lights, and whether i can still get their cyber monday discount:emoticon7: they cutoff the sale at 6pm EASTERN! that's not fair!

LMFAO (for real. I'm in a hotel room laughing aloud). Dude, I did the SAME thing in Tahoe over TDay. I was reading all about Turbos. Love them. Have a twin turbo in my S4 (which I upgraded to K05/RS4 turbos with 22.6 pounds of boost) and that light little compact is a rocket. I know most Camaro owners go supercharger but have a new found (2001+) affinity for turbos.

No that was/is the car I have now.

I am excited to get the 1LE and GM did, in the end, do the right thing, but this SS VERT is my baby.... saying goodbye has not been easy. :(
