oh, and TRS is working on getting me the weekend deal on my kit, since i emailed them with a question about the harness, but they were flooded with emails and didn't respond til today. sounds like some great guys over there

and i did wind up ordering my roto-fab CAI as well...*sigh*...i'm about 4 car payments into mods, but at least there won't be much more i want to do to it

lol, it's all good...i managed to get some great deals while i was at it

Unfortunately,my car still has not been shipped, and its still at 3800. Don't know what the hold up is. My dealer has not even recieved the invoice yet.

Whenever there is a question shes points people back to dealership.

I have been dealing with the truck fleet manager at my dealership. He imputes all the orders and understands the system. Maybe there is a person like that at your dealership?

I agree with tramtwo. At this point Becky cannot help. You need to have you dealer contact them. Be pushy polite,

"Hey Frank ... I'm on this really cool Camaro enthusiasts board and all the guys like me that had a TPW of 11/12 are already out of 3800 and either shipped at 4200 with Rail Cars or in shipping back from hood wrap 4300 to 4200. There's a dealer in Mi helping people understand their status. Both she and several member are encouraging me to have you or your Sales Manager contact the Mfr and push this through. Can you help?"

Contact the Internet Sales Manager, Sales Manager, something. Hell, go there in person. Show them this thread. Don't be afraid to show them you know more about the process than they do but in a super polite yet firm way. Done right, they will want to save face and show you they have this process down. Even if your car suddenly moves the next day and they give you a lame arse excuse, let it go. You've gotten what you wanted. It's better to be effective than right.

Try this....
  1. Get your rail car number from your dealer
  2. Call Union Pacific 1-800-877-5123
  3. 1 - for english
  4. 1 - for Trace
  5. 1 - to check one car
  6. <your number> - enter the numeric portion of your ETTX number. I enter 850647 followed by the pound # sign.
  7. <1> or <2> - to fax it or don't fax it.
  8. Listen for the details.
