Thanks for the link to the reservoir vendors. 2SSRS has a complete kit for $50 incline syringe. Expensive but probably quick and easy.

I was asking where you buy the cap. I saw your photos and know what it looks like. Maybe an auto parts store.

And while I understand it's common to put it on the web can you imagine what could have happened if Joe Schmo walked in and put an offer on the car? Ozzy could have been screwed. Worse, even if he still got HIS car, how many yahoos would have taken it for joyrides at the dealer.

Man, this gets me angry. Disclosure: I haven't had exercise in a couple weeks now.

Also in the pic of you're build(thank you by the way)as im not a mechanic, but pretty handy, the hose that you took off that you put that rubber cover on the nipple, is that the clutch line? i could also a black zip tie on the rubber cover. So my understanding is just empty the fluid, take the hose off, cover nipple with rubber cover, install clutch reservoir and hook that hose up and fill?

Here are the notes I've taken throughout the site. (Tram, please audit this):

How to instal: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31901
How to install: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=bleed+brakes

Parts to install:

#1 new reservoir from a GTO a Holden part # 92065790 list $19.33 but can get for $15.00

#2 a hose clamp, Range 1/4-5/8" less than $1.00
#3 a rubber plug for the brake master cylinder reservoir. $ 0.75
#4 2 self tapping metal screws for the new reservoir. $ 0.50
#5 And this is the end Dot 4 Brake fluid "Prestone" . $ 2.75

Steps (to your point):
1. Remove enough of the brake fluid that when you remove the clutch line it doesn't drip out. Use a syringe. Avoid spilling the fluid on your patin as it's corrosive. Don't pump the brakes or you may introduce air and have to bleed the master cylinder.

2. Remove the clutch line and cap with the rubber tip. Not sure where to buy but betting a hardware store or auto part store has something. Not sure if it needs to be clamped, zip tied, etc. but you don't want this popping off while driving.

3. Install the GTO clutch fluid reservoir. Mount near the brake reservoir to shock well (is that a word?) per the pictures in the links above. Use self tapping screws in part #4 above.

4. Connect clutch line to clutch reservoir.

5. Refill (don't overfill) brake fluid and recap. I think new fluid is best if your is contaminated.

6. Fill the clutch reservoir and cap with DOT3 fluid. See car manual for specification.

7. Pump the clutch 30 times to distribute fluid throughout the system.

8. At each gas fill up, inspect the clutch fluid. If it's discoloring or there is sediment, use syringe to remove then replenish with new fluid. Note: don't fully open the foil on the new fluid. By small cans of brake fluid. Air will cause the color to turn. Make small slight with pen knife in brake fluid "foil" (or whatever material it is) cover and shake/drip in to reservoir. If you plan do do this on-the-go, have a portable container to dispose of the bad clutch fluid.

Prayer call.... my mom Shirley who was born in 1931 is back in the hospital. She is scheduled to have her recently installed pacemaker rewired. If you're the praying type would appreciate a few seconds of your time. Thanks.
