--RELEASE-- Bilstein PSS10 Coil over kit from LG Motorsports

Hey guys,

You might have seen a couple of shots of this at the SEMA show a couple years ago, but we have the very first one in our hands right here at LG Motorsports.

We have long been a supporter of Bilstein shocks and use them on our race cars as well as our coil over kits for the Corvette's and Camaro's over the years as a very proven product but on the street and the track.

These will give you a 10 way adjustable shock, that controls bump and rebound together. The right height will be adjustable from 25-55mm lower than stock, and was designed to lower the car over stock.

The manually adjustable damping mono-tube gas shock absorbers feature 10-stage precise compression and rebound settings, from comfort to competition. The threaded body allows accurate adjustability of the front and rear progressive rate springs to achieve the vehicle ride height, center of gravity and level of performance handling desired.

The product benefits at a glance:
  • Individual settings ranging from maximum Comfort to aggressive Sport can be selected by the twist of a dial
  • Threaded body adjustable range of 20 mm at both axles
  • Lowering of approx. 25-50 mm at front and rear
  • Road-tested and fine-tuned by BILSTEIN ride engineers, under extreme motorsports conditions
  • Spring plates and lock nuts made from a special aluminum alloy
  • Surface coating using Triple-C-Technology«for long-lasting corrosion resistance
  • Round threads for easy adjustment
  • Quality sport springs made from highly durable material
  • Quality sport springs made from highly durable material
  • Gas pressure technology
  • BILSTEIN monotube technology, made in Germany

We will be track testing these very soon!

$2995.95 is MSRP

NICE!

I really like the way the setting numbers are so easily visible. Look forward to hearing how well they work on the car. Post more pics of them installed if you can.

Do you adjust the dampening in the trunk or below the car?

Under the car, nothing has to be drilled into the car.

Sorry guys, still waiting for Bilstein to get me the pricing info and availability of them. Of course I have one set here right now and I can order more sets.

They are going on our 2010 SS One Lap Camaro right now, should be driving on them later this afternoon.

Initial thoughts on the shocks.

Ride is very impressive and there is a big change in full soft to full stiff.

Shock adjustment changes are easy to be made and you can do all four in about a minute or so with no tools or need to jack up the car. Since you can not see the numbers, save for the fronts you will need to make note of which way they turn and what number you were on or go back to base and back up.

Testing right now is being done in conjunction with our sway bars as they have been a proven package even through the One Lap Of America.

On to the track this weekend!!

Man I might really have to consider these. My rough roads in Arkansas kill my back with just these lowering springs.

Should have video up soon of the track day the other weekend.

We spent time in both 'Pumkin' and our new ZL1 shop car.

We ran both the Bilstein units and tested our soon to be released G5 coil over package for the Gen5 cars.

The Bilsteins are a very nice street package for the cars but does have a bit of push at the limit when pushed hard on track.

Can the rear springs be changed for normal 2.5" springs? Thanks.

Actually going to test that later next week. I do not think there would be any issues doing that though.
