Bird Poop

My company is located next to a land fill so whenever I'm at work there are seagulls crapping on everyone cars which really sucks. I have a bottle of waterless wash and a microfiber in my car so that everytime I come out of work I can clean off bird droppings that have hit my camaro. When the droppings get hard though they can really cake on and visible scratches are sometimes left. Does anyone have some tips on how to properly remove bird crap from the paint of my car??? Stupid problem to have, but a problem nonetheless.

To avoid this, I would recommend multiple coats (very thin) of your favorite wax. I would do three coats if bird poop is a constant problem for you.

Spray one side of a MF towel real well with a detail spray or waterless wash. Place on bird poop, and let it sit. While it's sitting, spray the MF towel with more product. Wait about 5 minutes and try to take the poop off without scratching your paint. Sometimes the etching is inevitable. That would require correction from a machine polisher...

Here's an article a very highly regarded detailer made on bird poop.
