drag tips?

First time headed to the tracks and i just wanted to have some insider tips on the dos and donts like what traction setting one click two click or hold down 7 seconds what light to take off in what rpm to stall in a stock converter paddleshifter vs fully auto?

deflate tires to 25 psi.Turn the nannies off. Leave at 1000-1200 rpms.Do NOT use the paddle shifter. Leave shifter in "m" position....This should get you started...adjust
as needed.

Paddle shifting is too inconsistent. You'll either shift early or hit the rev limiter.I have tried it several times and not once did I get a good run using them.Most the time when you leave the light your weight is pulled backwards enough to shift the car into second before it has a chance to roll out.If you try to leave without having your hand positioned on the wheel where you can shift it will spool up too fast and hit the rev limiter before you can reach it. He(op) asked paddle shifter or full auto...I recommend letting the computer shift the car for you.
