I have seen no 1LE register. There is a zl1 register Becky maintains on this forum. The zl1 vins are sequential.... thus the main appeal.Maybe we can entice the moderators to start a 1 LE registry thread and make a sticky in the sub forum???

I got a call early this morning from the dealership. Someone from GM called them late yesterday afternoon and said the splitter and separator were shipped Fed Ex on Thursday and they should see them by Monday at the latest. This is obviously a small glitch in the system for the first cars. I hope to go down and have it installed on Monday or Tuesday.

Thats good news mark. Cant wait to see it with the splitter. Mark, can you take a picture of the hood underside and the trunk underside, do they have insulation on them? Thanks.

I've been curious what the vinyl wrap looks like underneath the hood. Is it perfectly cut to follow the line of the hood or is it just cut at a bunch of weird angles and just folded over?

Is the truck fusebox just as hard to get to as the ZL1?

It is cut nice, looks like a factory install should. It only extends under the hood a quarter inch or so. I took a pic last night, but it didn't turn out good. I will try again today. Sunny here, but COLD.

What are you asking? A forum on C5 or something else?

Good to hear. The red hash marks look awesome with the white and black.

Its folded over for better protection against peal. Looks alright.

By the way, did u get wheel locks? I posted a thread under wheels and tires on the gm locks they are putting on my car when it comes in. Curious what you got.

Looks great Mark!

Hopefully they get your splitter soon.

And it warms up...... It's cold as hell here already. (Although, good for deer season next saturday!)

Going to do a cam and CAI plus high temp brake fluid (probably the most important change). Then run a season at the track that way and see if I feel the need for more speed or not. I may take up autocross again. My stock 2010 just wasn't fun for that... the courses around here are short and it just wasn't agile enough. This car is different and I am going to give it a shot. I had a 2007 Cobalt that was a way better autocross car than the 2010 Camaro. If this car can compete on the stock tires, that would be a plus, because hauling another set all the time is a pain.

Yes it is painted body color, the while hood is. It is wrapped after paint hence why many members are thinking of taking hoodwrap off.

Congrats Mark, the car looks great!

Where did you get the hash marks, I really want to remove the Hood wrap and just put Hash marks or maybe have both.

Thanks again for the writeup, glad to hear it isn't too harsh.

The hash marks are from GM Accessories. Not cheap, but they fit perfectly.

Hey OP.....lil more time with the car now.....any new impressions on things?
MyLink thoughts
Interior fit/finish vs your old 2010
Still feel as though the ride is daily drive comfortable enough in the long term?
Is key built into keyfob or separate from it?
Hear any squeaks or rattles or knocking at all?
Have plans to weigh the car anywhere? data plate say about 3870?
Notice anything new handling wise that you didn't previously?
etc

Any more pics for the 1LE pic thread for those of us eager for more? LOL
