Bird droppings

Parked by a tree (wrong thing to do), got bird droppings on the hood. Doesn't seem to come out with wax. Looking to see what others have done to get the droppings out.

Try clay first, but ultimately you'll probably have to try polishing....good luck

Clay it, and see if it has etched. If it has, pick up some meguiars ultimate compound and polish (they are over the counter and only like 8 bucks at walmart). Apply on the etched spots in circles with microfiber applicator. Use some passion and pressure when applying. If the compound took out the etching, follow with the polish in the same manner.

If you have a DA machine, process is different. Do you have a DA machine??

dual action orbital machine. It's ok if you don't have one, try the method I said above and see if it works out

Those damn birds! I hate 'em! I've got the same problem, just haven't fixed it yet.

Did you go over it with the clay a few times?
