Well, I've spent the last few weeks breaking it in. It's now time to get the heavy oil out and put this thing on the dyno and up the boost. Tentative plan is to do that mid to late next week.

I've gotta say, if feels stronger on the 16-17 psi it is running now than it did on the 20-22 psi it was running before it went boom boom. Of course, that was a while ago so it may all be in my head.

Depending on how the first few pulls go, we may lock the converter to see how that goes. It should give us a better estimate of what we are really putting down and let us pull from about 4000 RPM up. We suspect the torque is peaking just above 4000 RPM, so our estimate last time was probably quite a bit lower than what it was.

The tune I have right now is locking the converter at 40 MPH in 4-6 gear. That's been working fine on the street and I haven't seen tranny temps rise very much, so we may be good. However, the tranny cooler won't work as well on the dyno so we still aren't sure if it will be safe.
