Yeah, it is peaking higher and earlier than I was expecting. It's got me a little scared about the crank handling it and a lot scared about the tranny.

Agree....putting that tranny through about double of what its rated for.

Better get a good run in the first or 2nd time cuz I don't know if you'll get any more chances lol.

(Oh...and don't blow up the tranny playing with the car before the 18th!)

It felt stronger on 16-17 psi than the last build did at 20-22 psi. I'm glad to see that wasn't just in my head. And it is still very well behaved on the street. You can't floor it without a smoke show, but you can drive it normal and it behaves nicely and still gets decent mileage.

Yeah, slicks or some very good DRs are needed at the track. Serious horse play on the streets, too.

You so deserve this Derrick. That. Is. Unreal.

I'm sure the self proclaimed "FI Expert" will try to triangulate himself into this achievement lol.

Probably. I wish I had a way to remove the tag he put on this thread.

So what does driving around with that much torque feel like?

Does it only take about half throttle to bury you into the seat? lol. You could easily play that trick about taping a $100 bill to the dash and tell someone in the passenger seat if they can get to it they can have it lol.

I haven't driven it since he loaded a completely new tune yesterday. Before, when you got past 40 MPH (when the throttle opens up) it would put you back in the seat hard at 1/4 throttle. On the street you can't go 1/2 throttle until you hit 3rd gear...it just spins. At full throttle and 15 psi in forth gear you would not get that $100.

lol

So your 4th gear throttle feels about like jamming the throttle at 15 mph in first gear on an N/A V6 Camaro.

Ridiculous.

Yeah, it doesn't just bark the tires shifting from 3rd to 4th, it spins pretty good...kinda scary actually.
