I think this achievement deserves more than a little COTW picture on the homepage. I think it deserves it's own Camaro5 news headline story on the homepage.

Hmmm, bad (but not unexpected) news. Rhino was finishing up the drivability tuning and the tranny gave up the ghost. They are going to pull it and see what failed (probably the clutches). Depending on how bad it is I may not make it 11/20 after all.

I guess we now know the failure point of the old 6L50E...

Just skimmed through the build, awesome stuff congrats on COTW!, what is the plan for the transmission replacement?

Short term we will try to replace what failed. Long term either build this one stronger or swap in a 4L80 I guess.

Sucks that happened right now, but you were pushing that thing pretty hard. I'm interested in what gave out. Can the 4L80 be swapped in easily?

Also congrats on car of the week!


Edit: you should get some pictures of the car so some people know what it looks like. the COTW link has that mean green gretchen in it.
