Can you pass this driver's test?

I got an 85%. Kinda wondering how other Camaro5 drivers will do. Please don't lie about your score.

In track, the fastest athlete to stay between the lines while handing off the baton is the better relay runner. In baseball, the team that wins is the best team, usually supported by the players who steal the most bases, hit the hardest, catch the most, and run the fastest. In autocross, the best driver is the one who gets through the course in the shortest time.

Somehow, the best driver in life is the one who follows the rules the best. Does anyone else see the contradiction? Discuss.

95%.

I thought the distance before a corner that you signal was what the DMV people told you (50 feet) instead of what it should be (100 feet)

#8 I put B. I figured passing on the right on a road with more than two lanes was something you technically shouldn't do but we all do anyway.

Missed #18 too. I answered "be prepared to stop"

This subject really gets to me. I'm so bothered that "driver's training" in the U.S. focuses solely on following the rules and almost nothing on vehicle control and actual driving skill. Knowing the rules should be the price of admission, not the passing requirement. I do live in California, where a large percentage of drivers don't even follow the rules, much less demonstrate any real driving ability. If they limited licenses only to people who can actually demonstrate competence behind the wheel, we'd solve a lot of our traffic problems.

Another question - states have no problem putting in cameras to catch speeders. Why don't they have cameras to catch people talking on their cellphone, taking care of/disciplining kids in the backseat, eating/drinking, etc. Speeding has become the scapegoat for the real problems that cause crashes.
